  I was fortunate enough to find Ryan long before we even had a case. We knew the landlord we’d eventually sue was mismanaging things and treating its tenants terribly, but it would be another 2 months before they’d actually break the law. Despite this fact, Ryan hung tight with us - closely watching every move, taking the time to answer every legal question and give moral support to hundreds of people (only some of which would become future plaintiffs) free of charge. He has this incredible ability to make everyone feel heard and treat each person, not just the case. He took out all of the guesswork and made an emotional and chaotic 3-month situation feel like something we could actually get through. Ryan plays chess not checkers, he’s strategic in every move, doesn’t miss a beat, and manages to do it all humbly - even finding ways to make you chuckle along the way.
